Signature Dishes That Stand Out
What truly sets Sansan Ramen apart is its array of signature dishes deeply rooted in rich flavors. Diners rave about their trademark ramen, particularly the Black Mountain Ramen, which boasts a smooth, thick broth enriched with fragrant black garlic oil. Each spoonful sings with depth, featuring tender, doughy noodles that perfectly hold the flavorful broth. The expertly crafted pork chashu melts in the mouth, enhanced by a generous portion of fresh vegetables.
For an appetizer, karaage fried chicken is a must-try; crispy and juicy, it comes highly recommended for a reason. The takoyaki is enjoyable, while the ankimo may leave you wanting more in terms of portion size. Though not every dish may hit the mark—like the fried squid which missed the crispiness—each visit offers a chance to explore new taste combinations.
More Than Just Ramen
The menu doesn't stop at ramen. Guests can enjoy a variety of delightful bites such as chicken gyoza, ebimayo, and even yaki curry with karage and shrimp. Each dish is complemented by an eclectic beverage selection featuring refreshing non-alcoholic options like iced green tea and sparkling water.

“ I have to say, if only rating food, its only 4, the extra one goes to staff, super friendly, providing good services. I still would recommend to try out this place if you are around the area. They did great in ramen, my black mountain ramen was delicious. black garlic oil flavored. Noodles were doughy not soggy, soup was thick with flavors, pork chashu was melting and smoky, and they put a lot of veg. Regarding fried items, karaage fried chicken was the best, pretty much the first option if you can only order one appetizer. Crispy and juicy. It went well with the sauce. Takoyaki was good too. Nothing impressive but outstanding. Ankimo was in the middle. Nothing special, slightly smaller portion. Fried squid was soggy for some reasons. I wonder why fried chicken was so great while squid was not. Maybe they used different frying batter? Also it was not that fresh in my opinion, tasted a little bit smelly. Last, chicken skin was soft as well. Not crispy and slightly on the oily side. ”

“ Great Ramen Place in LIC. To be fair, the price is not cheap but the portion is very decent. I came several times and so far I think the foods are decentconsidering its tip free. The black ramen and the signature one is bite heavy but today I tired the Yuzu one which is actually very good. ”

“ This was an amazing place to eat. The food is fresh and the service was excellent!! Its a must come ”
“ Really love this place! Tried it out for the first time and enjoyed it. They deep fry their takoyaki which is pretty unique and gives a nice crunch while the inside is still warm and soft. The ramen was very nice. Different than the prevalent tonkotsu style thats in NYC but very wholesome. I also got the shrimp curry which was delicious. You dont see a lot of the baked rice curries in NY as you do in the quick eats diners in Tokyo so this was a nice surprise. It could use a little more curry sauce but Iw as able to ask for some more on the side. Thank you, San San! ”
“ Best ramen place in LIC! Its very minimal staff so you place your order and pay at the self service tablet. I do believe tip is also optional due to the minimal service we always tip. Food is always great and comes out QUICK. As parents to a busy toddler, we appreciate this place so much for a fast, nofrills, and delicious dinner. Staff is also super friendly, the server gave my son a little stuffed toy this time and he loves the toy so much! Highly recommend. ”
